Job summary

Fairview is seeking a CT Technologist to join the imaging team at Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. This casual position offers day/evening/night/weekend shifts with differential pay for certain hours.

The Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, provide age-appropriate patient care, and collaborate with the health care team while adhering to ARRT requirements and agency standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Tech credential required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs excellent patient care
• Performs examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately
• Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Educates patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and appropriate technical factors
• Applies established guidelines to diagnostic testing procedures
• Ensures patient data integrity
• Adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and protocols/procedures
• Documents in compliance with regulatory requirements, completes computer functions, scheduling, and billing status changes
