Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with precision and care. The role supports patient comfort, safety, and high-quality imaging while adhering to ALARA and department guidelines.

Required are ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications, with 1 year radiology experience. The position emphasizes teamwork within Radiology and collaboration with clinicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose principles.
• Prepare and assist with contrast administration and venipuncture when indicated.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Complete documentation in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/prior exams as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with life-support equipment as required.
• Support department workflow and maintain stocked, clean work areas.
