Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk‑in center in Norwalk, CT. You will assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment by producing accurate cross‑sectional images and participating in complex imaging with sterile technique when needed.

Requirements include licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Connecticut and ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Produces CT images by selecting exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields with patient age and diagnosis in mind.
