Hartford HealthCare is expanding its Cardiac Evaluation Center in Norwalk, CT, seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center with rotating coverage. You will select exposure factors and scan fields to produce accurate cross-sectional images aiding radiologists.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant during complex invasive CT examinations using sterile technique.
• Produce CT images and select exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields to aid diagnosis and treatment.
