Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Norwalk, CT is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at our cardiovascular walk-in center. You will select exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields to create cross-sectional images for radiologists.

You will support invasive CT exams with sterile technique and assist the Radiologist or PA. Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT CT certification within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols.
• Assist radiologist or physician's assistant in complex invasive CT examinations using proper sterile technique.
• Produce technically accurate CT images to aid diagnosis and treatment.
