Job summary

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.

Our CT Technologists perform CT procedures by selecting correct exposure factors and scan fields, using patient age and diagnosis for accurate imaging, and assisting radiologists during complex examinations with sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant in complex invasive CT examinations using proper sterile technique.
• Produce cross sectional CT images and select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis.
