Job summary

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.

Our CT Technologists perform computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while utilizing the assessment of patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed by the CT Dept of Public Health.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of entry.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant during complex invasive CT examinations using proper sterile technique and producing CT images.
• Maintain sterile technique and select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross sectional images.
