Job summary

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our team uses appropriate exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to support radiologists.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce accurate cross‑sectional images.
• Assist radiologists or physician's assistants with complex invasive CT examinations using sterile technique.
