Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Cardiac Evaluation Center in Norwalk, Connecticut, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.

You will participate in complex invasive CT examinations with proper sterile technique and produce CT images to aid the radiologist. Licensed RT with ARRT CT within 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from CT DPH prior to hire.
• CT Advanced ARRT certification within 12 months of entry.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures per established protocols.
• Assist Radiologist or PA in complex invasive CT examinations.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis.
