Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Norwalk, Connecticut, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center, following established protocols to support the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment.

Our CT Technologists perform CT examinations by selecting exposure factors and scan fields while considering patient age and diagnosis to produce accurate images.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center following established protocols.
• Assist radiologist or physician's assistant during complex CT examinations with sterile technique.
• Produce technically accurate cross-sectional images to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
