Hartford HealthCare’s Cardiac Evaluation Center in Norwalk, Connecticut seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center, following established protocols and assisting the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires CT ARRT advanced certification within 12 months of hire, Connecticut licensure, and graduation from an accredited radiography program.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular center following established protocols.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis to produce accurate images.
• Assist the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant during complex invasive CT examinations using sterile technique.
• Produce CT images for radiologist interpretation to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
