Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a skilled MRI/CT technologist to perform high-quality imaging through careful patient positioning, factor selection, and data processing. The role requires up-to-date safety practices and patient communication throughout examinations.

The candidate will operate MRI/CT systems, manage contrast administration, and ensure accurate documentation for radiologists. A minimum of three years in radiology and ARRT Registry are expected for this position.

Qualifications

• 3 years general radiology experience.
• ARRT Registry credential required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients and select appropriate technical factors for quality scans.
• Perform post-processing of imaging data to enhance information.
• Operate MRI/CT equipment and related support devices.
• Transfer patients to/from scanning table and explain procedures to patients.
• Initiate IVs for contrast media per departmental policy and safety standards.
• Obtain patient history and prepare radiologist with exam information.
