Responsibilities

• Determines radiological technique and positioning for patient with immobilization devices.
• Operates advanced radiology equipment and assists radiologists with procedures.
• Adheres to safety standards, maintains patient shielding and regulatory compliance; keeps exposure badges and room cleanliness.
• Provides instruction to technologists; participates in problem-solving and performance reviews.
• Maintains patient records, daily statistics, scheduling and requisitions; ensures accurate ICD-9 coding.
