Job summary

RadNet in Florida is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join a team delivering high-quality radiologic imaging and patient care. You will perform CT exams, monitor patient well-being, administer contrast as needed, and guide patients through procedures while maintaining safety and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications.
• BLS certification may be required by state regulations.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through procedures by clearly explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and property, and ensure privacy.
• Safeguard medications on site in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Interact respectfully with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
