Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist in New Jersey to perform high-quality CT exams and monitor patients during procedures. You will administer contrast safely, guide patients through the process, and respond to physician needs while safeguarding patient information and on-site medications.

The role requires ARRT certification and state licensure where applicable, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. On-site position with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) certification as required by state.
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through the process by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and safeguard on-site medications.
• Respect company property and patient financial information on-site or portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
