RadNet in California is seeking a CT Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality radiologic CT exams. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and clear communication with patients, physicians, and staff.

The position requires ARRT credentials (R/CT), state licensure as needed, and BLS certification, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. The environment values teamwork and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through procedures and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and property, including on-site medications.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
