Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL seeks an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams, maintain safety standards, and support patient care in a busy hospital imaging department.

You will work a Full Time Night shift (Mon-Thu 8:30pm-7:00am) with a $10,000 sign-on and $5,000 relocation eligibility, in a 466-bed facility known for compassionate care and community presence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CT procedures
• Knowledge of CT scanners
• Ability to learn and grow with new technology
• Customer service skills
• CT safety and radiation protection
• Ability to analyze data, techniques, equipment, and quality control
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations

Responsibilities

• Practices infection control and uses PPE and disinfectants
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS
• Educates patients about the exam and completes exams promptly
• Operates imaging equipment safely, including scanners and monitors
• Performs high-quality CT exams per orders and protocols
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness
• Prepares and administers IV contrast safely and monitors for reactions
• Positions patients accurately while ensuring radiation safety and ALARA
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure imaging quality and continuity
