Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to operate radiographic and CT equipment, develop x-ray images, and assist physicians in fluoroscopic examinations. The role requires maintaining records, adhering to radiation safety standards, and supporting patient care throughout diagnostic imaging procedures.

Ideal candidates will have JRCERT-accredited training, a California RT license, and recent CT experience; additional fluoroscopy and venipuncture certifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years radiologic technologist experience with CT within the last 12 months.
  • One year CT experience may be substituted with the department's CT training program.
  • Graduation from a JRCERT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • CA Radiologic Technologist license or Certification required; Fluoroscopy and Venipuncture certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Explain test procedures and purposes to patients and demonstrate equipment.
  • Perform whole body CT scans and radiographs; assist in fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Maintain records, archive images to PACS, and ensure radiation safety compliance.
  • Prepare and position patients; monitor patient condition during imaging; assist physicians as needed.
  • Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and restocked.
