Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging services in accordance with physician orders. You will ensure patient safety, prepare rooms and equipment, and operate imaging systems per safety standards.

You will apply knowledge of growth and development to patients across age groups, maintain confidentiality, and participate in quality assurance activities. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) is required.
• Basic Life Support is required.
• Communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Intermediate computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray imaging per physician orders and safety standards.
• Prepare rooms and equipment; maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Provide patient education and address anxiety; explain procedures to patients.
• Document in RIS and ensure correct patient identification.
• Maintain radiation safety and perform quality assurance checks.
• Rotate shifts and respond to call policy as needed.
