Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to coordinate imaging services in CT and Radiology. You will manage patient throughput, operate CT equipment, and maintain safety standards in a high-volume department.

The role requires current radiology licensure in Texas and ARRT certification, with post-primary CT certification within six months. A Mon-Thurs night schedule and opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiology program accredited by JRCERT or AMA-approved program.
• Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• 1–2 years CT experience preferred.
• Licensed by Texas Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certified in Radiology.
• Post-primary CT certification within 6 months of CT assignment.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed CT - Computed Tomographic procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT scan equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Document, on film or in writing, information seen during exam.
• Relay to physicians any relevant patient information.
• Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others.
• Participate in rotating call schedule.
• Performs other department related duties as needed.
• Participates in formal training programs and in-services.
