Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures on GE Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 CT systems in a fast-paced radiology department.

The role involves post-processing, QA, patient prep, IV administration, and coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients. A Radiologic Technology program graduate with ARRT RT, IDNS, CPR, IV Certification, and CT Registration within specified timelines is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and CT procedures.
• Ability to perform standard CT imaging with quality.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Computer proficiency in imaging workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures on GE Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed and HD750 systems.
• Conduct post-processing of images using appropriate reconstruction software.
• Coordinate scheduling of inpatients and outpatients for CT imaging.
• Perform Quality Assurance tests to ensure image quality and equipment performance.
• Prepare and administer contrast material; monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Start IVs, document patient information, and prepare images for radiologist review.
