Akumin in Jupiter, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to ensure patient safety and perform high quality CT studies on site. The role includes pre-screening for radiation exposure, communicating with radiologists, and training junior staff.

You may also train Patient Coordinators and troubleshoot scanners and related equipment. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, ARRT CT registry (NMTCB acceptable in some states), state license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• ARRT CT registry; NMTCB acceptable in lieu of ARRT where allowed.
• State license and CPR certification required.
• Active driver’s license and medical imaging licensure if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for radiation exposure.
• Produce high quality diagnostic CT images.
• Communicate with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and patient coordinators.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment (PACS, monitors).
