Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Radiologic Tech to perform CT and X-ray procedures under the direction of a Radiologist/ Cardiologist and Supervisor. The role requires independent judgment to apply ionizing radiation for diagnosis, with involvement in contrast administration and patient assessment from newborn to elderly.

Essential tasks include equipment operation, infection control, radiation safety, and accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT licensure.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of accredited ARRT Program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment according to specifications and protocols.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety practices.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images within established protocols.
• Maintain patient records and documentation per department standards.
• Coordinate with Imaging staff and nurses for patient prep and transport.
