Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray procedures under the direction of a Radiologist/Cardiologist and Supervisor. This role requires independent judgment, use of contrast agents, and a focus on patient safety across all ages.

You will operate imaging equipment, adhere to safety standards, document patient information, and contribute to a collaborative team serving newborns through the elderly within NGMC facilities.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT licensure or certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED; ARRT program graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment per specifications.
• Adhere to infection control and safety practices.
• Maintain patient records per department procedures.
• Assess patients with appropriate documentation before exams.
• Provide patient education and document in records.
• Accurately utilize RIS per department standards.
• Meet department productivity standards.
• Keep workspace clean and organized.
