Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a CT Technologist for 3 twelve-hour day shifts at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for ARRT-CT qualified candidates with at least 1 year of CT experience.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic CT exams under radiologist supervision and assisting with biopsies and special procedures. Eligible candidates must have ARRT CT registry and graduate from an approved radiology program.

Responsibilities

• Under Radiologist direction, perform CT procedures with minimal supervision.
• Executes a range of CT exams with independent judgment for diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans across pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Assist radiologist in biopsies, drain placements, injections, and markings.

CT Technologist, FT 3 12’s St Mary’s Hospital, Athens, GA *10k Sign on bonus
Performs diagnostic exams consistent with quality CT Imaging.
Fulltime, Day shift Monday, Thursday, Friday 8a-8p
*Must have ARRT and at least 1yr experience as CT Tech to be eligible for the Sign on Bonus.

What you will do:

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration : ARRT registered - CT registry
• Education: Graduate of approved Radiology Program
• Experience: Experience necessary to demonstrate competence
• Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with

education level
