Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA seeks a CT Technologist for a full-time day shift (12-hour days). Under Radiologist direction, you will perform diagnostic CT exams with emphasis on image quality and patient safety across age groups, including potential involvement in biopsies or related procedures.

Requirements include ARRT CT registry, graduation from an approved Radiology program, and at least 1 year CT experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registry current and active.
• Graduate of an approved Radiology program.
• Minimum 1 year CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Under Radiologist supervision, perform CT procedures at an appropriate technical level.
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment as needed.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric to geriatric and trauma patients.
• Assist radiologists in biopsies, drain placements, injections and markings.
