Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System, part of Trinity Health, seeks a part-time CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA. You will perform diagnostic CT examinations, maintain quality assurance, and support department workflows.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT registered (R) - prefer CT registry
• Education: Graduate of approved Radiology Program
• Experience: Experience necessary to demonstrate competence
• Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with education level

Description:

The CT Technologist works closely with the Department Director and Radiologists to perform CT examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy of St. Mary’s to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Maintains technical competency through continued education. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members. Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
