Job summary

St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a CT Technologist for full-time day shifts. Under radiology leadership, you will perform CT exams in accordance with quality standards; ARRT CT registry is required, with at least 1 year of CT tech experience to qualify for the $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT registered - CT registry.
Education: Graduate of approved Radiology Program.
Experience: Experience necessary to demonstrate competence.
Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with CT imaging.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
