Job summary

St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a CT Technologist for full-time day shifts. Under radiology leadership, you will perform CT exams in accordance with quality standards; ARRT CT registry is required, with at least 1 year of CT tech experience to qualify for the $10,000 sign-on bonus.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT registered - CT registry.
• Education: Graduate of approved Radiology Program.
• Experience: Experience necessary to demonstrate competence.
• Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with CT imaging.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
