MedStar Health is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm
As a CT Technologist, you will operate diagnostic equipment to produce CT images of internal organs for medical use. Your responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, conducting interviews for medical history, assisting patients in positioning, and administering contrast media (IV, oral, rectal, P.O.) as per protocols.

Prepare patients for scans, review patient records, establish IV sites for contrast, and monitor patients during contrast administration.
Enter patient and exam data into the system, perform scans, prepare reports, and maintain records. Handle incident reports, anesthesia records, and report technical issues.
Assist Radiologists with interventional procedures, inform them of scan results, and schedule exams, adjusting for emergencies.
Maintain a sterile environment, archive images, ensure supplies are stocked, and replenish as needed.
Assist in training new staff and students, and ensure all system functions are correctly completed for patient info, billing, and exams.
Associate degree or 1-3 years of formal training in Radiologic Technology.
Completed competency-based CT training.
1-2 years of relevant work experience.
ARRT registration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
This position offers a salary range of $34.98 - $62.52 per hour.
