Job summary

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will perform a variety of CT Scan imaging procedures to diagnose medical conditions, operate the CT scan equipment to produce quality images, and prepare patients by explaining procedures.

Qualifications include ARRT certification and obtaining Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R certification in Radiography.
• ARRT-CT certification in Computed Tomography, or Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.

Purpose / Job Summary

The CT Technologist works in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting performing a variety of CT Scan imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions. You will operate the CT scan equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
