Job summary

TriCities Hospital is looking for a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce images for diagnosis. You will prepare patients and ensure optimal imaging results by interpreting physicians' instructions.

The ideal candidate has an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology background and holds certifications such as Basic Life Support and ARRT-CT. This role is instrumental in patient care, ensuring safety and accuracy in imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• ARRT-CT certification preferred.
• CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a physician’s scanning instructions and operate CT equipment.
• Administer contrast materials and assist the radiologist in procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and monitor inventory.

Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images requested by the physician.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures.
• Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• ARRT‑CT certification preferred.
• CT experience preferred.
