Job description

Job Summary

The Lead CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and overseeing day‑to‑day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assure adequate staffing according to volume, flexing when necessary.
  • Coordinate daily technologist assignments.
  • Ensure all exams are completed and put in take status.
  • Operate all department equipment safely and properly.
  • Teach and mentor radiology students.
  • Implement proper exposure techniques and positioning.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of drugs, their actions, side effects and contraindications for administration.
  • Help manage supplies in a cost‑effective manner.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited 24‑month Radiological Technology Program.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • ARRT-CT Certified in Computed Tomography.
  • ARRT-R Certified in Radiography.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
