Job description

We Are Hiring

• Sign On Bonus: $10,000
• Department: Computerized Tomography
• Schedule:Full Time, M-F 1p-9:30p
• Hospital:Ascension St. Vincent's Saint John's Hospital
• Location:Saint Johns, FL

What You Will Do

Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations.
• Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire or transfer.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with CT certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist certification in Computed Tomography, in addition to CNMT certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from ARRT, with Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from ARRT.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience.
