Position Overview

Competently performs routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently with sound judgment and clinical skills, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely procedures. Builds rapport with patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment. Adheres to all regulations and policies to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May assist in orienting staff or performing specific procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• CA CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days if required
• 5 years recent relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of diagnostic CT principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including emergency response experience
• Ability to perform routine CT exams and understand human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Strong communication skills to explain sensitive information professionally
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with computer applications and healthcare information systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills and attention to patient privacy
