Dual Angiography IR/CT Technologist (RADLG TCHNO PRN)

Job Overview

The principal radiologic technologist will assist with highly specialized diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures and perform CT examinations. The incumbent must have experience in both IR and CT modalities and be able to move between them frequently.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accuracy and ensure radiation and patient safety during procedures.
  2. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and equipment operation.
  3. Recognize and resolve equipment issues.
  4. Anticipate patient needs and provide appropriate care.
  5. Use professional judgment and critical thinking during procedures.
  6. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, clinicians, and peers.
Qualifications
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) with valid certification and CA Fluoroscopy permit.
  • ARRT Certification and CPR Card.
  • Experience with radiology and CT equipment.
  • Ability to adapt to new programs and equipment.
  • Assist physicians with procedures and handle related tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT VI and CT certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • I.V. Certification and contrast administration experience.
Additional Details

Position offers a sign-on bonus of $8,000 and potential relocation bonus. Salary ranges from $55.48 to $71.78 hourly. The role is full-time, on-site, with shift hours including 10 and 12-hour shifts, and requires working variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
