The CT Tech coordinates imaging services (CT and Radiology), monitors clerical functions, ensures efficient patient throughput, and utilizes equipment and staff effectively. Responsible for performing CT scans and radiographs per standards set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, assisting in diagnosis or treatment, applying patient care principles, and recognizing patient conditions. Ensures staff training and competence, applies growth and development principles, exercises professional judgment, and maintains ethical standards.
Participates in providing patient-specific care, follows service excellence standards, and strives for high patient satisfaction.
