Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the general direction of the Director and Manager of Imaging Services, provides healthcare services by applying x-ray and computer processing techniques for diagnostics or treatment. Performs computed tomography and related procedures, demonstrating sectional images for interpretation. Exercises professional judgment, maintains ethical demeanor, and provides appropriate patient care, recognizing patient conditions for successful procedures.
Responsibilities include:
  • Performing computed tomography procedures
  • Acquiring and formatting exams with proper clinical history
  • Planning and managing patient volume and examinations
  • Maintaining a clean and stocked department
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications needed:

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Associate Degree
  • Preferred: One year of Radiologic Technologist experience

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography within 90 days of employment
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license in Texas
  • Preferred: 1 year CT Technologist experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) or CPR within 30 days of start date
