Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director and Manager of Imaging Services, provides healthcare services by applying x-ray and computer techniques for diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, demonstrates sectional images, exercises professional judgment, and provides patient care, recognizing patient conditions for successful procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures.
• Acquire and format exams with clinical history.
• Plan and manage patient volume and examinations.
• Maintain a clean and stocked department.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology school.
• Preferred: One year radiologic technologist experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Required: ARRT certification and MRT license; must obtain ARRT CT registry within 90 days.
• Preferred: 1 year CT experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
