Job summary

Blessing Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT examinations with a focus on patient care and safety. The role includes preparing patients and equipment while adhering to departmental policies.

The position may float within the Health System to meet department needs and serve neonate to geriatric patients in inpatient or outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ARRT Radiology Program.
• ARRT Certificate required.
• CT registry eligible; must complete within 1 year of hire.
• IEMA license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations safely and efficiently, including patient and equipment preparation.
• Float within the Health System as needed by department.
• Provide services to neonatal through geriatric populations in inpatient and outpatient settings.

JOB SUMMARY

This position requires the performance of safe and efficient C.T. examinations including the preparation of both patient and equipment while following all organizational and departmental policies. Position will be required to float within the Health System based on departmental needs.

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position could potentially work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
