A leading radiology service provider in California seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality exams and ensure patient comfort. Responsibilities
Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

Requirements
State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
BLS certification depending on state regulations
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!
