Job summary

Blessing Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT examinations and ensure safety and efficiency in patient care. The role requires preparing patients and equipment in line with department policies and supporting multiple age groups from neonate to geriatric.

Qualified candidates will have radiologic technologist training, ARRT registry, and CT experience; CT certification should be attained within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Required Radiologic Technologist training and CT registry by 2028.
• CT experience preferred.
• ARRT registry and state licensure required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations safely and efficiently.

JOB SUMMARY
This position requires the performance of safe and efficient C.T. examinations including the preparation of both patient and equipment while following all organizational and departmental policies. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Illini Community Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Illini Community Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:

• Radiologic Technologist Trained
• Effective January 1, 2028 must have CT registry

PREFERRED:

• CT experience

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: ARRTregistry
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency Division of Nuclear Safety: Licensed
• C.T. Certificate. (C.T. certification must be attained within two years of hire).

PAY STATUS

• Non-exempt hourly
