Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (DH-YRMC) in Prescott Valley is seeking a CT Technologist to capture precise diagnostic images for radiologists, enabling accurate diagnoses and compassionate patient care.

You will perform CT scans per protocol, follow ALARA, ensure patient safety, and document exams in Radnet, contributing to high-quality imaging and patient experience. Join a not-for-profit healthcare network delivering regional imaging services.

Qualifications

• AZ MRAD license or ARRT RT credential preferred.
• CT Radiology Tech certification valid in AZ.
• BLS/CPR certification required or eligible.
• Three years CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans based on protocol and radiologist recommendations, adhering to ALARA and radiation safety standards.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, data entry, and proper documentation in Radnet.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic exams and assist in 3-D reconstructions as required.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

• Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional Procedures, Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. Uses ALARA on every exam when selecting parameters for exam based on patient age and habitatus.
• Displays competency performing procedures; follows National Patient Safety Goals for two patient identifier, hand hygiene and universal precautions. Always produces high quality diagnostic exams. Accurately enters, selects and/or merges the correct patient identification information on the scanner and in PAC system.
• Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions, on the 3-D workstation
• Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol. Completes exams in Radnet.
• Completes incident reports/extravasations forms. Completes patient contrast information forms. Scans in documentation as required into PACS

$37.40 - $55.63 /hour
