Job summary

The CT Technologist at Prime Healthcare collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality CT images in support of the radiologist. You will assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and ensure timely processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Candidates should have ARRT-CT certification, a CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state, and BCLS (AHA) upon hire; one year of acute radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Radiology/CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• ARRT-CT Certification required.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT images in collaboration with radiology team.
• Assist radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit CT images to PACS.

Education

One year acute radiology experience

Knowledge of radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment

Anatomy knowledge

CT license and fluoroscopy permit

Job description

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. 3. 3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
4. 4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
5. 5. ARRT-CT Certification is required
6. 6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $42.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
