Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic CT images and perform radiographic and DEXA exams. The role requires precise patient positioning, contrast administration under radiologist supervision, and accurate documentation of doses in the chart.

The position features a 6:00pm–6:30am shift with every other weekend rotation, holiday rotation, and pay starting at $32.10 per hour with a $3.00 shift differential. Experience-based compensation is available.

Qualifications

• AS: Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography within 1 year of hire.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic CT images for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform radiographic and DEXA exams with appropriate technique and positioning.
• Inject contrast media intravenously under radiologist guidance.
• Document radiation dose and contrast use in patient chart.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize exposure to staff and patients.
• Utilize PACS/HIS to archive and access patient data.

Holiday rotation. **Responsibilities**Accurate image identification., Assures accuracy and high quality images., Completes continuing education on CT specific safety annually., Obtains proper consent for procedures., Performs CT exams in addition to; Radiographic and DEXA exams by setting, adjusting, manipulating, and controlling a variety of complex electronic equipment., Performs intravenous injection of contrast media products under the guidance of the Radiologist., Provides proper documentation in patient chart of radiation dose and contrast use., Remains current regarding knowledge of Creatinine & GFR levels to aid in determining the use of contrast.
