Job summary

Whitman Hospital & Medical Clinics in Colfax, WA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT exams with proper patient ID, apply ALARA principles, and manage PACS documentation. The role requires ARRT CT certification, WA radiologic tech license, an associate degree or higher, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

As part of Radiology, you will collaborate with leads and radiologists to meet department needs, perform QA/QC tasks, prep patients, and ensure clean, safe equipment and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification and WA DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification required.
• Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or related field.
• Certified in BLS within 30 days of hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs satisfactory CT exams with proper patient identification.
• Uses ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Reconciles images and paperwork in PACS.
• Cleans equipment and surfaces; uses PPE properly.
• Communicates effectively with staff and patients.
• Works with Leads and radiologists to meet department needs.
• Completes QA and QC as needed.
• Stock supplies and notifies Leads when supplies are needed.
• Schedules patients and provides preps as needed.

The position will require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50 pounds. The position will require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting and standing frequently. Occasionally the position requires climbing, kneeling and crawling. The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation. All basic life functions such as hearing, seeing, speaking, standing and walking are required.
