Job summary

Grant Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to operate computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures. You will explain procedures to patients, administer oral and IV contrast media, and schedule patients in an organized fashion, following approved protocols.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT-related credentials and an Ohio radiologic license, plus BLS certification. This full-time role supports a high-reliability, safety-focused radiology team within the department.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification and state licensure required or eligible.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program with ARRT credential.

Responsibilities

  • Operates CT scanners for diverse procedures as directed by radiologists.
  • Explains procedures to patients and administers contrast media as requested.
  • Schedules patients and coordinates workload with other departments.
  • Maintains safety, quality and efficiency per protocol as a High Reliability Organization.

The position is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner. Reviews lab values and screens patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media. Administers oral and IV contrast media Operates CT scanners for variety of procedures.
