Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist in Joliet, IL for daytime shifts in the Imaging department. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiographic procedures and ensuring compliance with HFAP/TJC/local and state/federal regulations.

As a frontline liaison, you will assist customers with imaging needs and participate in quality control activities, including image processing and PACS transmission.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification required or equivalent.
• State fluoroscopy permit as required by law.
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• At least one year of radiology technologist experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures per department protocols and regulations.
• Interfaces with customers to address imaging needs.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
