Job summary

Mercy One is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team in Iowa. No prior CT experience? We provide comprehensive training to ensure you excel in your role while you grow alongside a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program completed (ARRT or NMTCB).
• CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
• Active radiology registry status.
• Current state Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within three months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications:

• Must have relevant credentials as defined below:

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).

• PreviousCT experience preferred.CTcredential(ARRT or NMTCB)preferred.

• Maintains active registry status.

• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
