Job summary

MercyOne Health System is seeking a CT Technologist in Iowa to perform CT exams under radiologist supervision. The role requires completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program and an active registry, with CT experience preferred. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available and the schedule includes 12-hour day shifts, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

• Occasional on-call responsibilities as required by department.

MercyOne North Iowa is a clinical training site for approximately 500 students from 127 different colleges enrolled in programs for medical laboratory, nursing, paramedic, rehabilitation, medical assistants, pastoral services, physicians and many other medical fields.

As a CT Technologist at MercyOne, you will perform computed tomography exams and procedures under the medical direction of the radiologist in a highly technical and professional manner.

Schedule

• 36 hours a week

• 12 hour shifts

• Hours vary from 6:00a - 6:30p or 7:45a - 8:15p

• Rotating weekends

• Rotating holidays

• Rotating on call

General Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB)

• Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred

• Maintains active registry status

• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
